question Characteristics of electrolyte decrease
Characteristic that illustrates the extent of decrease in the electrolyte of battery due to overcharging
question Open circuit voltage
Voltage under no load when the battery is not connected to the external circuit electrically 
question Gassing
Phenomenon of active generation of gases (oxygen and hydrogen) due to electrolysis of water at the terminal stage of charging
question Separator
Thin plate with multiple pores or minute pores that compose each of the cells for the purpose of prevention of short-circuit and maintenance of consistent gap for proliferation of electrolyte between the positive terminal plate and the negative terminal plate
(Must be oxidation resistant, chemical resistant and have the function of preventing the movement of active material by harmonizing the ion conduction of electrical insulation)

Discharging with relatively high current in comparison to the capacity of the battery. In general, discharging of more than 1 hour current rate

Standard voltage used in indicating the battery voltage. In general, it is a voltage that is slightly lower than electromotive force with lead battery indicated as 2.0V while Ni-Cd battery is indicated as 1.2V for each end cell.

Electrodes that contain active material that displays electrical polarity are referred to as positive terminal plate and negative terminal plate, and is in the state of composition with positive terminal element and negative terminal element for which each of the electrode element has been assembled, separator and pole, etc. The electromotive fore for each of the end cells generates approximately 2.0V of electromotive force.
